Rundown of the last 2 months or so..

At the end of school my mom told me I better hurry up and get to Utah because my Grandfather was dying. So I left a day early. Within a week of time- I had lost my grandfather, found out my grandmother has breast cancer, went to the viewing and funeral, my grandma and grandpa were in a car wreck Christmas day and the car my parents were driving was backed into. The will was read and all the emotions that run with that were expressed. And I saw family members act in a manner I never imagined.
Needless to say-- it was a rough break to put it gently. I was able to escape from all of this by going to my dad's parents house for a few days. That was a blessing. I also felt the support and love of my friends and of Randy. I am so grateful for their love and understanding. Not saying my family wasn't there too, but we were all hurting. Things are better now...sort of.
My grandmother has started Chemotherapy and is losing her hair. She always too such good care of her hair. I helped her dye it a number of times. My aunt was put into the hospital for a manic attack. and my aunt Tana's dog Cherrie died. I loved that dog, she is the mother of my dog Alli.
On the upside- I went to Spokane and met Randy's parents. That was wonderful. They were very kind to me and I felt welcome. They live in this 1890 farm house, they have horses and dogs and cats and lots of land. His sister just got into vet school.
Randy took me on a sleigh ride in Jackson Hole for Valentines day. It was so nice to spend the day with him.
I got a job at a dairy. I love being a milk maid even if it is early and I smell afterwards.
I am a lead peer for my horse classes- meaning I am the teacher and have 2 teacher assistants. I couldn't believe they trusted me with that responsibility. This has been a learning experience for sure.
I am taking 347 - a horse behavior class. I am learning soo much about myself and how horses communicate and how to understand them. The horse I have for the semester is Gwenevere. No one here has worked with her, so it has been very exciting that I get to "write her book" in a way.
My mom came and visited me one weekend and my dad came a few weeks later. I was so glad to see them under less stressful circumstances and they got to meet Randy. Chantel is supposed to come at the end of this month.
I am taking O-chem and its HARD! I have never taken a class that was this challenging before.
